In late 2012 I was asked if I would be interested in refurbishing an old Edinburgh police box. It was very rusty with flaking paint and steel plates over the broken windows. This was going to be quite a challenge! My great grandfather Roderick Ross was Chief Constable of Edinburgh in the early part of last century and in 1933 was responsible for the installation of these police boxes.

There will be further work to come. An air raid siren is being sourced for the roof, also a sink for inside.
